Set up by the government of Assam, the Boneej scheme aims to help the MSME industries and businesses established in rural areas of the state. These industries are set under the traditional and micro sectors in the state.

The industries in the area should be functioning for at least 2 years in the rural areas of the state. The manufacturing process should also be carried out in the same rural area. The applicant should fall in the age bracket of 18 to 50 years with no minimum educational qualifications requirement. In order to receive financial aid, the industries should have borrowed a minimum of 1 Lakh.
There are various industries in Assam set up in rural areas. These include jute, jewelry, pottery, blacksmith, sitalpati, musk, japi, candles, food items such as papad, fireworks, bell meta, etc.
Transport Subsidy Scheme

Mukhyamantri Krishi Sa-Sajuli Yojna

Under this scheme, the Assam government provides Rs. 5000 each to all the farmers of the state. Through this finance scheme, it benefits more than 5 lakh families.
The age of the farmers should be at least 21 years. Apart from the regular farmers, sharecroppers or tenant farmers who have at least 1 acre of cultivation area can also apply under the program. These farmers should have a savings bank account to receive benefits under the scheme.

Pradhan Mantri Rojgar Yojana (PMRY)
The government has given special focus to industries such as horticulture, piggery, poultry, and fishing. In order to avail of benefits under the scheme, the total project cost should be a minimum of 2 Lakh. The subsidy for the projects is provided at 15% with a maximum limit of Rs. 15,000.
North-East Industrial and Investment Promotion Policy (NEIIPP)
